JBT instrumental

Someone I know posted this online and by chance I decided to click on it, with no intention of being sucked in, but this song is incredible. John Butler Trio is usually filled with soul-soaked lyrics and folk acoustic strumming, but this instrumental solo acoustic piece reminds me of something more along the lines of Andy McKee. This one is truly beautiful.

Also, as a little extra, here's a chill cover of the Police that JBT did in the studio

Sweden Rocks

Sweden does everything right. They just know how to run a country I guess. Free Healthcare, Flying suits, swedish fish, house music, and best of all: Tall Gorgeous Women. When you combine any of these two awesome entities, a miracle occurs. My buddy Dan G introduced me to a female DJ straight out of sweden. She's cute. And she knows music. what more could you ask for?

Eyes on Fire

Heres a song I came across that was made famous by the movie Twilight. I have never seen the film but when I heard the song I was hooked...on the song. The name of the song is Eyes on Fire and it is by a danish group named Blue Foundation. Eyes on fire was originally written about the Cold War starts of calm and peaceful and slowly builds up with the help of some sick drumlines. The vocals, by Kirstine Stubbe Teglbjærg give me goosebumps.
Check it.

And heres a dope Dubstep remix too by Zeds Dead, from Toronto.
They are currently unsigned.

Office Musik

If you follow the TV show the office you might get a kick out of this mashup. The office theme song, a jingle originally by The Scrantones, a local band from Scranton, PA, adds an upbeat pace to Lil' Wayne's Hustler Musik off his hit album The Carter II.
Hope you like it.

Also here is a video of The Scrantons preforming the office theme live.

Fischerspooner Remix

We all know Fischerspooner can be some of the cheesiest electro music around, but when a DJ gets his hands on it and makes a remix, sometimes all that's left is gold.

Ubiquity Records

Lord Newborn & the Magic Skulls is a trio out of southern California that does nothing but create tasty jams, literally. For their debut album, they actually locked themselves in a basement for two weeks to create nothing but soulful, funky tunes that make you wanna groove. Great for chillin at the beach, cruisin in the whip, or anything else.
The video that goes along is a concept created by band member, Money Mark, and involves classic funk instrumentals as well as a cornucopia of other percussive instruments.
Lord Newborn is part of Ubiquity records who have signed all sorts of artists from cuban jazz and rap to electronic and funk. They are a label based out of Costa Mesa, California, and with any luck, i hope to be working as an intern there this coming fall!

Summer Weather

I had to pop this video on here because it was giving me as good a vibe as this beautiful weather that finally hit me. My buddy, Ned, from bumblefack, PA showed me this song and said it reminded him of the sun. The distant, catchy melody rings in your ears long after you hear the song, but it's a good one so dont worry. Just enjoy the song and the video with beautiful women in it. One of many great tracks from long time trance artist ATB (or André Tanneberger)
